Commercial Landscaping

Cleanup
March & April
Turf areas, tree & shrubs beds will be cleaned of leaves and miscellaneous winter debris.
Weed, Edge
& Mulch
April & May
Weeding of beds and tree rings will be completed, then a well-defined edging of beds and tree rings will take place prior to the installation of mulch. Tree rings and planted beds will be mulched to a depth of 1½ to 2 inches using triple-ground hardwood unless otherwise specified.
General Property Maintenance
June – October
Hand weed all beds, trim and prune as needed, removal debris on the property, remove dead and broken branches.
Fall
Cleanup
October – December
Leaves and miscellaneous debris will be removed from beds and turf areas twice during the fall. These clean-ups will be scheduled to coincide with the township’s scheduled leaf collections.
Weed Control Applications (Beds Only)
June – October
Weed control application will be applied to non-turf beds on the property. In addition to the beds, there will also be an application on sidewalks, curbs, walkways, stone areas, and expansion joints.
Turf Management
& Curb Edging
April – November
Lawn areas will be edged, mowed and trimmed weekly, or as needed to maintain turf in a neat appearance (2 1/2 to 3 inches – estimated height for cool-season grasses).
